It is with great sadness that I must share that our beloved Don Young has passed.

Don was a superstar advocate for opticianry and the Professional Opticians of Florida (POF). He served on the POF Board of Directors and on his local West Coast Chapter Board

Don was a popular speaker of contact lenses and other content at the POF conferences. He was honored with a Lifetime Achievement Award in 2021. Don was a proud Navy Veteran. He left a legacy behind, and we will never forget him. 

Our deepest condolences to his lovely wife, Alma and the rest of his family. May He Rest In Peace ❤️
